During this 2016 seminar, a range of expert practitioners and academics provided best practice advice and practical information about supporting families who have suffered a sudden bereavement.

Speakers at this event also discussed insights into how support workers, educators and carers can best support families who have been bereaved suddenly and traumatically.

Presentations included insights into practical support methods available for practitioners supporting suddenly bereaved families, an overview of the manifestation of trauma and discussion of the value of early intervention and sign posting to a range of services and resources available for practitioners working with bereaved families.
