Supporting bereaved people with additional needs
During this online webinar, a Brake volunteer shared their personal experience of providing support, and the event also featured an extensive talk from Sue Read, Professor of Learning Disability Nursing at the University of Keele.
Content covered within the event included practical guidance on supporting bereaved people with additional needs, alongside an overview of challenges that bereaved people with additional needs may face and an academic discussion of the ways in which people with special educational needs experience and process bereavement.
